The highly anticipated upcoming title will take players to Feudal Japan and will feature two dual protagonists. One is believed to be a male samurai, possibly based on the real life figure of Yasuke, whilst the other is thought to be a female shinobi. On top of this disappointing news we also now have it confirmed thatBaldur’s Gate 3won’t receive any DLC or expansions. The official word came down from the CEO of Larian Studios, Swen Vincke, who recently commented on the future of the game at GDC. It seems work had started on DLC, but was abandoned. Baldur’s Gate 3 scooped up plenty of awards for the brilliance it showed It appears that discussions aboutBaldur’s Gate 4were happening, but Vincke noted that the team appeared to be working towards it because they felt theyhadto, rather than wanted to....

Fallout fans are in for a treat – and we don’t mean simply because the new series is airing soon. However, while this treat is an additional extra, its availabilityisconnected to the Amazon show. As anyone in the fandom will tell you, there isn’t long to wait until Amazon’sFalloutfinally airs. Recent announcements, especially surroundingFallout 5, haven’t exactly beenwhat was expected. There are certain games we’ll be waiting for with bated breath; one of which being theCyberpunk 2077sequel. After clawing it back in a spectacular way, the original CD Projekt Red game has become beloved. How stunning isCyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty? We can’t get enough! Since then, news has been sporadic, at least regarding theCyberpunk 2077sequel. Until now, that is. Apparently, the sequel is going to marry together “film and game”, seemingly in a similar way toAlan Wake 2....

Fans ofCyberpunk 2077are warned that the latest update to the game may completely break your current progress, or even make the game unplayable. The issue is for PC players, so console owners don’t need to worry about this one. The issues are hitting those who like to mod their experience as the update doesn’t play nice with many mods, and fans are understandably upset. It’s hard for the developers,CD Projekt Red, to know what will and won’t affect mods, however, given that they can’t check every mod whenever they roll out a patch....

We’re not sure this is a good idea. But what do we know? Apparently, nothing, as far as Bend Studio is concerned. Don’t get us wrong, some live service games work and work very well. However, the vast majority end up killing the potential a title has through cash grabbing extensions that do little to satisfy fans. We’ve all seen it happen. I never likedDragon’s Dogma. Or rather, Iwantedto like it, but for some reason never quite managed to click with the strange, ambitious 2012 RPG. I’m as surprised as anyone, then, thatDragon’s Dogma 2is currently my clear frontrunner for 2024’s game of the year. It’s easily the best RPG I’ve played sinceBaldur’s Gate 3. It manages to make me feel a sense of freedom I haven’t felt sinceThe Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild, and a genuine wanderlust no video game has managed to capture for me sinceThe Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim....

Some actual beast of a player has managed to beat Melania inElden Ringwith a character still at level one. What’s even more impressive - though this is worthy of praise already - is that they did it while recovering from a broken arm. That’s like saying they can beat Melania with one hand tied behind their back. I can barely clear minibosses with my level 30+ character and this guy is out here just ruining Malenia’s day....

The Elder Scrolls VIis making outstanding progress with its development, as it’s reported that somewhere out there, people are playing it. Bethesda’shighly-anticipated RPG,The Elder Scrolls VIhas been a point of contempt amongst fans for years now, largely due to it being announced years before it even entered development.
