PlayStation officially halts production on new hardware after overestimating demand

Reports are indicating that new PlayStation hardware hasn’t been performing as Sony initially planned, causing the Japanese tech giant to halt production for the time being. Sources have toldBloomberg’s Takashi Mochizukithat production is on pause for the PSVR2. It seems the number of units needed was overestimated leaving many units sitting around in warehouses across the world. It’s honestly no surprise given how reticent the gaming public can be when it comes to virtual reality, and when you lump on the £500+ price tag it makes it unlikely many will take the plunge and give it a go....

Princess Peach: Showtime! Review – A new reign begins

Ever since the first announcement,Princess Peach: Showtime!has been on my radar. Rise of the Ronin review: a thrilling revolutionary tale marred by a few pitfalls

That being said,Rise of the Ronindoesn’t make itself an overtly easy game to gel with. Its storytelling is unconventional, whilst the brutal introduction to its combat perhaps doesn’t reflect the fact that it’s actually both accessible and enjoyable once you’re into the throes of the game. It was far more of a tough sell than I was anticipating, but there is a really wonderful experience to be had here. Rise of the Ronintakes us to the year 1863....
