Call of Duty continues to crack down on cheaters, announcing that over 2,000,000 have now been banned for toxic behaviour exhibited in voice chat. You’re likely to stumble across cheaters in most multiplayer games. It’s a problemActivisionis very much aware of, with the studio tweaking and perfecting its anti-cheat software Ricochet over a number of years. Just recently, it was announced that Ricochet canautomatically boot players from a Call of Duty titleshould it detect them using any kind of cheat aim-assist tool, including those which facilitate ‘wallhacks’....

The fans might be being a tad dramatic here, but the fact remains that CD Projekt RED teasing thepossibility of multiplayerin the sequel has received a mixed response. Yet, let’s not forget that it was a feature originally intended for the first game before its dismal launch scrapped that idea. We’re not certain of future features, but no one can deny how amazingCyberpunk 2077: Phantom Libertyis. Still, that isn’t stopping fans from hating on the notion....

I should add, it’s not that we expected developer Dambuster Studios to crank out a poor game, but it was more so related to the developmental hell thatDead Island 2had been lost in for nearly a decade.Dead Island 2was revealed at E3 2014. Initially, it was intended to be released the following year. Obviously, that never came to be. Check out the originalDead Island 2announcement trailer below! The first team to handle the project was Yager Development (Spec Ops: The Line) before it was passed onto Sumo Digital (LittleBigPlanet 3) in 2016 following a year-long hiatus as publisher Deep Silver searched for a new studio to take on the project, and finally, Dambuster Studios (Homefront: The Revolution) were handed the reigns to seeDead Island 2through to its completion when it was released in April 2023....

We’re approaching one year since the expansion was announced and two years sinceElden Ringitself was launched so a FebruaryShadow of the Erdtreedrop feels very likely.
