Of all the games that are crying out for a remake or remaster, I think it’s fair to sayNeed For Speed Underground 2sits comfortably at the very top of the list. It is, I think we can all agree, completely bizarre that the fan favouriteNeed For Speedhas yet to be revisited. Publisher Electronic Arts is infamous for having perpetual dollar signs in its eyes, so quite how it has avoided the goldmine of remaking one of the most popular games of a generation is beyond us....

It’s always really disappointing to hear that a project has been cancelled before it’s even had the opportunity to get off the ground. It’s most immediately a shame to think about all those involved who were excited about and committed to bringing these projects to life. Even as a fan though, it’s never nice to hear that something you were looking forward to playing or watching is now no longer going to be made....
