October is upon us, as too is the stronger-than-normal urge to play every creepy, eerie, spooky game in sight. Fortunately for someone like myself – a lover of horror even if I wet myself whilst playing them – Steam Next Fest 2023 has a wide array of games that tick all the right macabre boxes. I should point out that thisSteamevent isn’t only focused on horror games – there’s action, adventure, RPGs, puzzles, a whole array of subgenres to whet your appetite if you’re looking for something new to try....

The latest Assassin’s Creed game,Mirage, has taken players to Baghdad. Advert Advert This small team came together and changed things that players have asked for for years. Patches from Ubisoft never helped, but now you can play it perhaps how it was meant to be played. A year ago, fans learnt that the NetflixBioShockfilm had finally found its director. It was news to fans’ ears, even though there’s a natural amount of caution and scepticism that comes with video games being turned into TV shows and/or films. It’s hard to decide if this new bug inEA Sports FC 24is hilarious or tragic. Usually, games have the odd bug pop up and they’re inconsequential, but this new bug in EA’s latest football game is game-breaking. Essentially, this bug ensures that players are guaranteed a goal. If the player performs a skill move that ball becomes attached to their leg, allowing them to simply run into the opponent’s goal to score....
