To celebrate the upcoming launch ofCall of Duty: Modern Warfare III,Activision is giving away a PlayStation-exclusive Operator bundle which features multiple exclusive items.Call of Duty: Modern Warfare IIIis set to be released on 10 November and to celebrate its launch,Activisionheld aCall of Duty Nextevent yesterday which was the perfect opportunity for fans to get their hands on some exclusive rewards. On top of the event rewards available through Twitch and YouTube, it’s been announced that an Operator bundle will also be up for grabs for those who purchase the game on PlayStation....

This isn’t just the game’s debut in the Modern Warfare franchise, but also a kind of reinvention. This will be the biggest version ofZombiesdue to being merged withCall of Duty’s attempt at an extraction shooter,DMZ.DMZis no more, but it lives on throughZombies, which has now become a PvEvP game mode. To put it simply,Zombieswill now be played across a much larger map which includes many buildings, vehicles and, crucially, other teams fighting against the zombie outbreak....

Gone are the days of jumping on aCall of Duty Zombiesmap with your mates, starting off with a basic pistol and slowly grinding to the highest round possible with pack-a-punch wonder weapons, and that makes me genuinely quite sad. It was initially just bonus content to a game that swiftly became much, much more than that. Basically, I’m not impressed with what I’ve seen from the newModern Warfare 3zombies gameplay, which we’ll go into but first, let me take you back almost 15 years....

The next entry in the ever-popular Call of Duty franchise is nearly upon us and so too is its latest version of its free-to-play battle royale offering,Warzone.This week,Activisionhosted the CoD Next event across its social media channels. What a turnaround it’s been forCyberpunk 2077. Following the release of Update 2.0 and thePhantom Libertyexpansion, so many of us have fallen head over heels for Night City.In fact, many are declaring it to be one of theirfavourite video game locationsof all-time. The player count has skyrocketed, and it’s on track to surpass that ofStarfield. Players are thoroughly enjoying the new missions, albeit if one new survival horror segment does have themretreating to safety in the foetal position....

It’s clear thatCyberpunk 2077has been riding high in recent weeks. This is primarily down to two things; Update 2.0 and the DLCPhantom Liberty. Both of these updates to the game have revolutionised the title, saving it from years of bad word of mouth. It comes as no surprise that CD Projekt Red was already planning a sequel -already teased in-game- but with this bounce back on the original game, they might be pushing the pedal to the metal....

It’s understandable that theCyberpunk 2077renaissance is causing some players to ask about a sequel. There’s one on the way, but a vast amount of patience will be needed for this one.Capitalising on the hype from update 2.0 and the DLCPhantom Libertysequel talk has begun. In a 5 October investor’s call CD Projekt Red shared a few details on the sequel; mostly that it was in a “conceptual stage” and thata team of veteranswill be designing it....

Despite CD Projekt Red making the decision to developCyberpunk 2077as a first-person RPG, the studio was recently asked if it had any regrets about its decision and what its plans are for the sequel. Whilst this is possible with certain mods, it isn’t something thatCD Projekt Redever regretted choosing....

It has been eight years since the release ofFallout 4and with no immediate signs of another sequel, fans are resorting to creating their own trailers envisioning what the game could look like. Released in November 2022,God of War Ragnarökis the direct sequel to 2018’sGod of War,a continuation of the series with the same name that first launched in 2005. The recent adaptations tell the story of Spartan warrior Kratos and his son Atreus who must navigate a world filled with creatures and monsters from Norse mythology. Grand Theft Auto Vmay have originally been released in 2013, but that hasn’t stopped Rockstar Games from supporting it with a wealth of constant content. Well, Rockstar Games actually stopped supporting the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions ofGTA Onlinefrom 2013, and understandably so. The current versions ofGTA Online,which are bundled withGTA V,are great benefactors of awesome content. Though it’s a shame thatRed Dead Onlinehasn’t received the same kind of treatment. Granted, it still has events such as the recentHalloween update, but nothing to the substantial level of its GTA counterpart....
