You can even capture straight-up human people and put them to work in your base, as if the game couldn’t get any weirder.
Sadly the game has steadily declined in popularity since launch, losing its title as the most-played game onSteamto the equally fantasticHelldivers 2, which is still the most popular game on the platform at the moment.
However whilePalworldhaslost the majority of its players, developer PocketPair still plans to support the game with new content, some of which has already beenteased online.
Recently though the CEO of PocketPair, Takuro Mizobe, took to Twitter to highlight new games following inPalworld’sfootsteps, and is predicting there’ll be loads ofPalworldclones in the years to come.

Odd phrasing aside, the CEO is probably right given all the buzzPalworldgenerated at launch, and as more and more updates for the game are released, including a long-awaited PvP mode, its popularity could rise again.
Palworldis currently available on PC via Steam, and is also available at no additional cost on Xbox Series X/S via Xbox Game Pass.
