However while fans have a lot to look forward to, there is a mammorest in the room, online cheaters.

The game has reportedly been plagued with players using cheats that have started to affect online servers, and PocketPair plans to crackdown on the problem in the next few weeks.

In a statement the developersaid: “Currently, some users are unable to connect to official servers due to cheating and the influence of fraudulent activities … As a company, we do not tolerate any fraudulent activity or cheating, and we are working on measures to deal with it strictly and as a priority.”

One of the major features on the way for the game through post-launch support is a PvP mode, so online cheaters will need to be removed before that’s introduced to ensure a fair, and enjoyable experience for the majority of players.

Regardless of how long it takes, it’s a comfort to know it’s on the developer’s radar, and action is being taken.
