Palworld is finally coming to PlayStation 5

Good news forPokemonfans that don’t own a Nintendo console for some reason; it seemsPalworldis finally coming to Sony’sPlayStation 5following a recent leak.

The list even specified which systems each title would be playable on at the event, withPalworlddeveloper Pocketpair seemingly noting that the title would be featured on PCs, Xbox Series S/X, and… PlayStation 5.

It should be noted that, seemingly since Gematsu picked up on this last night, the list has since been amended to remove the PlayStation 5 from the list of systems you can playPalworldon.

Although this could imply that the listing was actually a mistake and has since been rectified, it’s more than likely that the event organisers are trying to cover up for their mistake as this isn’t the first time it’s been implied thatPalworldwould be coming to Sony’s platform.

Back in June, the Global Community Manager at Pocketpair tweeted arather cryptic postthat led many to believe that they were implyingPalworldwould be coming to PlayStation systems.

The company alsoannounced in Julythat they were teaming up with Sony Music Entertainment and Aniplex to “establish Palworld Entertainment, Inc., for the purpose of accelerating the multifaceted global development of Palworld”.

Although the latter announcement seems to be implying that some kind ofPalworld-related anime seems to be on the horizon, it does mean that Sony and Pocketpair have been in talks to collaborate for some time now.

Either way (although it seems all but confirmed at this point) we will have to wait until the 26th of September once the Tokyo Game Show starts for the official confirmation.
