In a statement released earlier this month, Nintendo said:
“We have received many inquiries regarding another company’s game released in January 2024.
“We have not granted any permission for the use of Pokémon intellectual property or assets in that game.

We intend to investigate and take appropriate measures to address any acts that infringe on intellectual property rights related to the Pokémon.
We will continue to cherish and nurture each and every Pokémon and its world, and work to bring the world together through Pokémon in the future.”
Be that as it may,Palworldstill made an appearance at tonight’s State of Play event and showed a brand-new cinematic featuring the main character and their Pals.
With the title already breaking records earlier this year, it will be no surprise if a PS5 release will bring in a whole new legion of fans.

Much to Nintendo’s dismay.
Palworldwas praised for its fun gameplay, building mechanics and of course, the cute Pals that players can collect, look after and even take to battle.
As you can already probably tell, this sounds a lot like a Pokémon title but Pocket Pair has always denied stealing any assets from the Japanese studio.
