Perrikaryal is the brains behind this phenomenon with the streamer regularly using this equipment to beat games such asFortnite,Elden Ring,HaloInfiniteandFall Guys.The EEG works with a small amount of voice commands and gyro- and eye-tracking is used for movement which together allows Perrikaryal to move, shoot and craft her way throughPalworld.
“When you’re thinking about different things your pattern of brain activity (the frequency of brain waves, how much there is, and where roughly they’re coming from) is different,” Perrikaryal recentlytoldPolygon. “Using a brain-computer interface, I can train (via machine learning) the software to recognise what particular patterns of brain activity look like. These are mental commands.”
It is perhaps unsurprising that Perrikaryal is able to achieve this impressive feat considering she has a masters in psychology. As a result, she was even able to beatElden Ring’sMalenia using the technology. With herPalworldgoal being a bit simpler - to catch a Pal - we doubt it will be long before she is successful.
