I’d like to make it very clear before we begin that I’m definitely not the sort of person that thinks you should simply accept what your given without complaining. Everything should be open to criticism! But when does criticism turn into nitpicking? It’s a line I believe we may have found today.
A brand-newPlayStation 5free download, which doesn’t actually requirePlayStation Plus, has caused some fans to complain. Why? It doesn’t look nice enough, apparently. Blimey.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirtharrives this month, and PlayStation 5 gamers can currently get access to afreedemo of thelong-awaited RPG- no PlayStation Plus needed. Not a bad deal at all, right?

Except, after playing the demo, various gamers have come away complaining that the game looks more than a little rough around the edges.
One Twitter userwrote: “Is it just me or does the [Final Fantasy VII Rebirth] demo look really bad? Texture quality is very bad, pop ins all the time, and a lot of shimmering on very fine details. Apparently this game was built for the PS5 and it’s not just a ‘remake’. Is this correct?”

It is, of course, worth noting that demo versions are rarely indicative of the final quality of the game. We also know that graphics do not make or break a game, as valid as criticisms such as the above may be.
