Inan open letteron the PlayStation Blog, Firewalk Studios’ game director Ryan Ellis said: ”Concordfans — we’ve been listening closely to your feedback since the launch ofConcordon PlayStation 5 and PC and want to thank everyone who has joined the journey aboard the Northstar.”

“However, while many qualities of the experience resonated with players, we also recognise that other aspects of the game and our initial launch didn’t land the way we’d intended,” the statement continued. “Therefore, at this time, we have decided to take the game offline beginning September 6, 2024, and explore options, including those that will better reach our players.”

The statement went on to say that while the path ahead is still being determined, full refunds will be issued to all those that purchasedConcordon PC and PlayStation 5 whether it’s bought via the PlayStation Store or PlayStation Direct. It was also confirmed that refunds will be issued for those who purchased via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

As for those who purchasedConcordthrough other retailers, Firewalk Studios has instructed those to “refer to the refund process of the retailer you purchased it from to obtain your refund.” Once the refund has been issued, access to the game will no longer be available.
