I’m sure you have your own personal favorites. FromSilent HilltoMetal Gear Solid, the PlayStation 1 birthed so many incredible franchises we still enjoy today.
It also spawned many other IPs that we’ve not heard from in a long, long time.

It’s an odd concept on paper but trust me, it works.
Tombahasn’t exactly endured in the public consciousness like other PS1 platformer icons but the game will soon make its grand return courtesy of Limited Run Games.
TheTomba! Special Editionis set to launch on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on 1 August.
“As the titular Tomba, you leap, bite, and throw your way across stunning 2.5D landscapes on a quest to overcome a deplorable cadre of nefarious pigs,” the synopsis teases.

In this new version, players will be able to save anywhere, rewind, toggle for analogue control, enjoy a remastered soundtrack, and visit a ‘museum’ filled with original packaging, manuals, and never-seen-before artwork.
Pricing and physical editions are set to be unveiled in the near-future, and we can’t wait to hear more.
