A former Xbox console exclusive will soon make the hop over to PlayStation 5. I’m talking about the phenomenalImmortality.
Immortalityoriginally launched in 2022 on Windows,XboxSeries X/S, and mobile devices. The single-player interactive horror centres around model-turned-actress Marissa Marcel. Throughout the game, we see Marissa star in three films - created in 1968, 1970, and 1999 - none of which ever released. When Marissa goes missing, it’s up to the player to delve into these forgotten works to solve the mystery. You’ll utilise film clips, interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage. I can also tell you thatImmortalitylanded in GAMINGbible’stop 10 games of 2022 list.

It’s a game that plays out differently depending on the choices you make, which means it’s very fun to play alongside friends, comparing playthroughs. If you’re sick of hearing all of the praise though and just want to dive in, the good news is that you can (if you’re a PlayStation 5 owner), on 23 January 2024.
The game will set you back just $19.99 and I simply can’t recommend it enough. I will warn you that it does contain a few spooks, but not the jump scare kind. More the ‘now I feel chilled to bone and won’t sleep’ kind, but that’s all a part ofImmortality’s magic.
