The information shared on Reddit is via the Twitter account ThatBomberBoi, which shared comparison images of the graphics preset options of the rumoured PS5 Pro reportedly condemned “Trinity” alongside the standard PlayStation 5.

The Reddit thread was less than impressed with the rumoured specs such as vladgrappling who asked the fair question: “Nothing major from the looks of it. Only one Ultra vs High graphic setting while everything else is the same. The dynamic resolution factor is 0.8 instead of 0.6 as well. Frames per second are the real question, so how much will the FPS improve?”

“The CPU is the same, so it probably won’t change except maybe a bit higher FPS when you go unlocked mode in games that allow it,” suggested Quatro_Leches.

I believe that when it comes to the PlayStation 5 Pro, it might be wise to lower our expectations but hopefully, it might at least give a small FPS and resolution boost, unlike what is expected of the PlayStation 6.

No release has been announced for the PlayStation 5 Pro but it’s expected launch is late this year or early 2025. That being said, as with all unconfirmed rumours, we should take them with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise.
