As with any unconfirmed rumours, they should be taken with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise, especially when there have been so many regarding thePlayStation 5 Pro. But I guess if people keep throwing rumours at the wall, at some point, something is bound to stick.

The latest PlayStation 5 Pro rumour claims that the console will be announced at Sony’s next State of Play event said to take place at some point next week. The rumours are courtesy of Twitter user Lunatic Ignus, whoaccording toComicbook.com, has provided some accuracy when it comes to leaked information in the past.

“Sony will announce its next leap of this generation next week, following the State of Play on 19-20 September,” Lunatic Ignus tweeted.

I think we all expect the PlayStation 5 Pro to arrive at some point but it will be interesting if the rumours of its announcement do take place next week during a currently unannounced State of Play. Only time will tell.

We’ll of course keep you updated if we hear further information on the expected arrival of the PlayStation 5 Pro.
