
Sony has released a new system update that fixes a graphical bug that has been to the annoyance of fans for the last week or so.

“Did not fix anything for me, it just broke my PS5, and now it crashes upon start up, already did a factory reset and when I shut it off and turn it back on, it says “software error” and starts shutting off,” exclaimed Secure-Lead9854. “I can’t log into the network or the same thing happens immediately and I can’t play any game online at all.”

Yet, it seems that this bug might be related specifically to a game rather than just the PlayStation 5 console, something thatFinal Fantasy XVIpublisher, Square Enix has addressed.

“In response to the crashes and graphical bugs that were occurring on the PlayStation 5 version of Final Fantasy XVI, SIE have released a new system update,” it tweeted. “Please try downloading and installing this update.”
Hopefully, whether it’s another PlayStation 5 system update or a patch to fix a specific game, issues encountered such as Secure-Lead9854 will be fixed soon.
