PlayStation 6 leaked specs promise biggest generational leap we’ve ever seen

Sony hasn’t announced the PlayStation 6 yet but leaks suggest that it might provide the biggest console generational leap we’ve ever seen.

In my opinion so far, in terms ofSonyconsoles, I believe that the jump from thePlayStation 2to thePlayStation 3has been the biggest generational leap boasting huge graphics, framerate and processing performances.

Yet, if rumours are to be believed, the leap fromPlayStation 5to PlayStation 6 could provide the biggest improvement, but at what cost?

However, the host of the YouTube channel Law’s Moore is Dead and guest NXG, havebeen discussing(thanksTweakTown.com) the potential power of the PlayStation 6 and if the console is going to be as powerful as we’re led to believe, it may come with a hefty price tag.

According to sources of Law’s Moore is Dead, it’s reported that the PlayStation 6 could be equipped with Zen 4 and 8C/16T and may clock up to 5 Ghz+, which would be a vast improvement over its predecessor.

It’s expected that as long as compatible TVs are being used, the PlayStation 6 could perform at 120 frames per second, a 4K resolution and ray-tracing with relative ease but could also achieve 8K gaming.

To accommodate for the rumoured specs, Sony would also have to greatly improve upon the PS5’s current customised PCIe 4.0 SSD to meet the demands of next-gen visual and processing demands.

Naturally, the PlayStation 6 would also need to have much larger console storage with next-gen games expected to exceed 200GB regularly, especially if you’re an avid Call of Duty gamer.

That all being said, as I mentioned earlier, Sony hasn’t officially announced the PlayStation 6 yet but many will be hoping the announcement will be made at some point this year.
