In order to increase security measures for all its customers, Sony is set to roll out an important update which will introduce passkey support to the PlayStation Network.
Check out the PlayStation 5 below!
Thewebpagefor the PlayStation passkey is already live and players can now activate their very own passkeys. What we do know is that those who wish to activate the passkey can set it up via the Security panel of the PSN’s Account Management page. This can be accessed via the PS4, PS5, PS App or PlayStation website.

“A passkey also reduces the vulnerability associated with traditional password-based systems,”Sony writes. “Passkeys are safer than passwords because they are resistant to phishing and other types of cyberattacks like data breaches.”
Not only will it increase security but it is also a much faster way to log into your PSN accounts and with passwords slowly becoming a thing of the past, it is no wonder Sony is staying with the times.
