It looks like a solid game, and it’s nice to see it return for a modern-day audience on more consoles than just Sony’s handheld.
The remaster as Bandai Namco hasput itwill include a variety of enhancements to the game, including “4K resolution, upgraded textures, and 60fps for current gen platforms.

WhyXboxisn’t getting the game is unknown, but fans have quickly called out the weird omission especially since Bandai Namco has worked well with Xbox in the past.
In all likelihood it’s probably due to the fact it was a PlayStation Vita game, and while it’s not a huge loss for Xbox it’s still annoying for fans that wanted to play it on Microsoft’s system.
Given how it’s being remastered it’s probably safe to say the original version won’t be coming toPlayStation Plusas one of the classic game library additions, though I don’t know why you’d want to play that version over a remaster.
TheremasteredFreedom Warswill launch next year on 10 January for the systems mentioned above.
