PlayStation gamers can currently get their hands on a range of free downloads for January, and you don’t even need PlayStation Plus for most of them.
If you own aPlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5and aren’t currently signed up to the PlayStation Stars loyalty program, what are you doing? It’s a great way to grab free store credit, plus all manner of funfreebonuses that don’t actually require a paidPlayStation Plussubscription.
PlayStation has kicked off a ton of new Stars campaigns for players to get stuck into throughout January. We’ve already coveredthe games you can play to get hold of a lil' free store credit, but there are some neat cosmetic freebies too.

First up is a digital collectible based on PlayStation’s excellent accessibility minded Access controller. This one is exclusive to Access controller owners, and to unlock it you simply have to play any game on your PS4 or PS5 console.
Finally, from 18 January you can playViewfinder, Superliminal, The Witness, The Talos Principle 2, orPuzzling Placesto net the Synaptic Feedback Digital Collectible. As if we need an excuse to play any of these games.
