PlayStation drops free 50 hour open-world game you can play now

A massive open-world FPS is now available on the PlayStation Store and better yet? It’s completely free.

Dropping in the PlayStation Store and available forPlayStation PlusExtra members isFar Cry 4,the 2014 FPS fromUbisoft.

The fourth major instalment in theFar Cryfranchise follows Ajay Ghale and is set in the fictional Himalayan town of Kyrat. As a young Kyrati-American, Ajay soon finds himself caught in the middle of a civil war between Kyrat’s Royal Army and a rebel faction known as the Golden Path.

The official synopsis reads: “Hidden in the towering Himalayas lies Kyrat, a country steeped in tradition and violence. You are Ajay Ghale. Traveling to Kyrat to fulfill your mother’s dying wish, you find yourself caught up in a civil war to overthrow the oppressive regime of dictator Pagan Min.

Originally released for the PlayStation 4,Far Cry 4is now heading to the PS Plus service and will be free to download for allPlayStationPlus Extra members. Additionally, afree trialis also available to check out if you want to try before you buy.

With the entire game, including main and side missions, points of interest and random events to complete, equalling around 50+ of gameplay, this FPS is not one to miss out on if you are interested in diving into an expansive open-world.
