PlayStation drops new free downloads you can claim without PS Plus this September

Some changes have been made to PlayStation Stars with new rewards to claim and more in-store credit to earn.

If you haven’t signed up toPlayStationStars yet it’s worth checking out, though be warned some changes are being made to it soon that’ll make itharder to save up points.

Astro Botlaunches later this week everybody, are you ready for what could possibly be the best PlayStation 5 game yet?

Earning those points is definitely worth doing though, as you can redeem them for in-store credit which is always a nice treat.

I managed to save enough for a £20 gift card that knocked a huge chunk of cash offThe Last Of Us Part II Remastered.

The latest offering for PlayStation Stars has since been updated, allowing you to earn not just a bunch of pointsrelativelyeasily, but also an adorable digital collectable.

The other two additions are worth 50 points each, one of which requires you to buy a game from a predetermined list, or play some of the latest PlayStation Plus additions.

Some fan reactions to the changes can be found on Reddit, and honestly they’re quite negative, especially for the challenge that requires you buy a brand-new game just for a few points.

“Stars for Star Wars Outlaws purchase added two days after release? Smdh”saidone PlayStation Stars user.

“I hate those ‘purchase this game to get points’ ones. I typically buy the game way before those campaigns release,” added another.

You’ve got a month to claim all the rewards and points for September, so get to earning if you want a better chance of some free in-store credit.
