The majority of these “challenges” are relatively straightforward, often requiring the user to play one of several games for any amount of time before the points get added to your balance.

One of the latest challenges revolves around some of the most popular multiplayer games on thePlayStationplatform, includingHelldivers 2, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, My Hero: One’s JusticeandMinecraft.
Now if you don’t own any of the above games and don’t fancy buying them don’t worry, as one user has discovered you can circumvent that pay wall with a game trial.
Reddit user GLiTcH2 shared the handy trick on the PlayStation Stars subreddit,sayingthey didn’t own any of the required games, but “remembered that Minecraft had a demo/trial so I downloaded it hoping it would work.”

Fortunately it does, as if you download the Minecraft trial for a few minutes it’ll count towards the challenge progression, happy days.
Whether this a mistake on Sony’s part or something that can be relied on going forward is another question, but for the time being it’s worth keeping in mind if any challenges feature games you don’t own, or can’t access through PlayStation Plus.
