PlayStation free store credit up for grabs if you move before 27 June

If you want to claim free store credit to spend on the PlayStation Store, you need to act fast but also overcome one major obstacle that Sony needs to fix ASAP.

In 2022,Sony launched its PlayStation Starsrewards program which gifts campaigners with reward points that can be spent on the PS Store. These points can be redeemed against free store credit to spend how you please, select video games including the likes ofStellar BladeandRise of the Ronin, as well as DLC and more.

It may take a while to accumulate enough points to claim £20 store credit or a selectfree game, but with a little bit of routined persistence and patience, you’ll be claiming all the required points in no time. One campaign that you might want to check out (if you can and more on that in a bit), is the ‘Multiplayer Mayhem’ campaign that rewards you with 50 easy points.

All you have to do to claim the 50 points - which can eventually result in free PlayStation Store credit - is play any of the following multiplayer games on PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4:Monster Hunter Rise,Sea of Thieves,Tekken 8orWWE 2K24.

A personal favourite of mine isWWE 2K24which is a fun game to play whether you’re a fan of pro wrestling or not, and has over200 playable characters. This year,WWE 2K24is all about ‘40 Years of WrestleMania’ which featured cover stars, ‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley.

In myreview ofWWE 2K24, I said, “Fans of this Shakespearian sport can rest assured thatWWE 2K24is the most fun and deep pro wrestling game there has ever been.”

What’s more, you may have noticed the gameSea of Thieves, which was once a Microsoft exclusive, is now available on the blue brand, and it comes highly recommended along with the other games included in the campaign,Monster Hunter RiseandTekken 8.

You have until Thursday, 27 June 2024 to complete the ‘Multiplayer Mayhem’ campaign to claim the 50 reward points. However, PlayStation Stars has been down for the best part of a week so far and for much of the world, those campaigns cannot be accessed at this time.

If you try accessing PS Stars via the PlayStation mobile app, you’ll get the message “PlayStation Stars is currently experiencing issues. Our engineers are aware of the issue and are working on a solution.”

Hopefully, PlayStation Stars will be fixed soon and all impacted campaigns will be extended so that we can claim those easy-peasy free reward points.
