It is today, on this rather cloudy and cold September Tuesday, that Sony will finally unveil the long-rumouredPlayStation 5Pro console.
Yesterday, on the official PlayStation Twitter account, theannouncementwas made.

If you don’t know, Mark Cerny is the lead architect of the PlayStation 5 so already, our spidey senses were tingling.
The tease that the presentation would “focus on PS5 and innovations in gaming technology,” only cemented the thought in our minds: that the arrival of the PS5 Pro was imminent.
It seems Sony may have let the cat out of the bag early as the presentation has been pre-uploaded to YouTube as an unlisted video.

In the meantime though, fans are hotly debating what that price point should be, and it’s a topic that’s causing more than a few disagreements.
“There is speculation right now [that] the PS5 Pro will cost around $600-700,”wroteReddit user Ishaan0612. “I do not think Sony will price it higher than $500.”
“LOL, $700. A few hundred dollars more will get you a perfectly fine gaming PC. The current PS5 will suffice until the PS6,”repliedLeather-Mobile-8370.
My bet is that it’ll be $599 with the $80 disc drive sold separately, so around $700 with taxes and all,”addedLZR0, with Futuristpraxiscommenting, “I would definitely reconsider missing out if that were the case.”
