PlayStation gamers seemingly getting full refunds over ‘false advertisement’

Welcome to another episode of gamers doing the weirdest things. Today, we look at PlayStation players getting full refunds due to “false advertisement”.

Before you argue that such grounds are fair, allow me to explain that the “false advertisement” claim is all about certain outfits inStellar Bladebeing less skimpy than once intended. If you thought that possible.

These refunds first came to light over on Reddit (where else?), in which the OP shared ascreenshotof their full refund.

However, it’s important to point out that the refund fromPlayStationdoesn’t state that it was for “false advertisement” – that tidbit comes from the OP themself.

SinceStellar Blade’s launch, the game which we dubbed“non-stop action”, has garnered much interest. First due to itsunintentional racist art, and now because Eve’s outfits aren’t daring enough.

According to the ones claiming refunds, though, the issue isn’t her covering up but rather due to the fact that it’s an M Rated game and so “why on earth” would anything be censored…?

Despite the cries from some fans that they’ve been misled – over clothing, no less – the game’s director has said that these changes are the “final costume”. The intention was always to have it like this, but they launched before that necessary detail was updated.

Sounds odd, but whole games have launched broken before.

Regardless, though, the ire such a change has caused is bizarre yet unsurprising given how readilynude mods forTomb Raider Remastered I-IIIappeared online.

We also saw how upset people got over a15-year-old Tifa being “censored”, aka a sports bra added so we didn’t see full cleavage. Oh, the audacity of it all!

For the record, Eve’s outfits still show skin –a lotof it. But we guess that isn’t enough, and soa petitionhas been created to rectify that wrong. Shockingly (that’s sarcasm, folks), most of the people complaining about this are men.
