Following PlayStation’s loyalty scheme programme mysteriously going offline earlier this year, it seems as though the future is still uncertain for members.
June this year sawPlayStationStars go offline for the better part of a month without any explanation from Sony.

In return, the points collected can be exchanged for free store credit and this has seen many users able to purchase brand-new titles at no extra cost.
However, in recent days,Sonyhas seemingly updated PlayStation Star’s rewards section. Again, this comes with no explanation.
Players noticed the change upon booting up the rewards section and seeing that only a few remained.
This includedStellar Bladeoffering 17,500 points and Dragon Krystals,Mortal Kombat’svirtual currency, rewarding players with 1,250 points for every 500 Krystals.

Before the August update, rewards were offered for games such asHelldivers 2, Minecraft, Rise of the Roninand more but these have all seemingly been removed.
As a result, members are worried that they will no longer be able to access their free store credit again, which is what happened back in June when PS Stars went down.
Members save accumulated points and credit for multiple months so it is no wonder that they are demanding answers from Sony.
However, at the time of writing this article, the PlayStation company has yet to comment.

It remains to be seen if this is a mistake, error or part of a bigger plan for PS Stars but there is no denying that Sony is not being the most forthcoming with information.
For now, it is worth staying vigilant until we receive answers.
