PlayStation is quietly reviving a PS2 classic for PS5

PlayStation has had a busy week, with the latest State of Play bringing us plenty of exciting announcements.

The headliner was the reveal thatSucker Punchis gearing up tolaunchGhost of Yōteiin 2025.

Set around 300 years after the events ofGhost of Tsushima, the game will focus on a new ’ghost’ known as Atsu.

Sony also confirmedthe existence ofHorizon Zero Dawn Remasteredwhich is set to launch next month, withLEGO Horizon Adventureslanding in November.

We got our first look atAstro Bot’s upcoming free DLC plusThe Last of UsPart Iwas announced as a new addition toPlayStation Plus.

It appears that Sony is holding back plenty of its secrets though.

The game has remained somewhat easily accessible over the years, withSirenlast landing on the PlayStation 4.

It appears that it may soon receive yet another update as a new version has surfaced, receiving aratingon the Korean Game Ratings Board.

The PS4 edition wasn’t very well received so this could, in theory, be a nice little remaster or remake.

Or it may just be another straightforward re-release. It’s hard to say at this point in time.

I’d love to see an updated version of the game join PlayStation Plus as a premium tier title. That’s not out of the realm of possibility.

Whatever Sony is cooking up, hopefully some answers aren’t too far away.
