The PlayStation Plus Classics include a couple of titles I’m surprised Sony still remembers.
Alongside the PSP port ofSecret Agent Clankand the PSVR 2 gamePistol Whip, two classic, if certainly lesser known, PS2 gamesSky GunnerandMister Mosquitoare finding their way to PlayStation 5s this September.
Mister Mosquitohas certainly earned its spot in the Classics library however, as sales for the title when it was released on the PS2 were relatively strong - even earning the title a “Best Of” re-release in Japan the following year.
Reviews for the game were average to good at the time of release too, with the public sentiment towards the game growing more and more positive with time.

Sky Gunnerhas got to be the real star of the show however, which is a cult classic 3D flight simulator that released back in 2001 exclusively for the PS2.
ThinkSkies of Arcadia’saesthetic mixed withPanzer Dragoon’sgameplay, and you’ll already be half of the way there.
Although the reviews were decent, Sky Gunner failed to amass the kind of sales that Sony Computer Entertainment, who published the game themselves, were hoping for.
Every game listed will seemingly be available on the 17th of September this month, so if you’re a PlayStation Classics subscriber make sure you giveSky Gunnera go for me. The more people know about that game, the better.
