Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2received generally pretty good reviews when it dropped back in September, earning it a 86% “Critics Recommend” scoreover on OpenCritic.
Players were equally happy with the game too, as it’s currently sitting at a “Very Positive” scoreon Steamwith roughly 82% of the 98,000+ reviews being positive.
A lot of reviewers were particularly complimentary of the game’s co-op content, which Eurogamer’s Rick Lane described as “chaotic, class-based,Left 4 Deadstyle Operations”in their 4/5 review.
Take a look at the game in action below.
Lane also stated thatWarhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2“sparks fond memories of the pre-Souls era of third-person action games,” and referred to it as “the KFC party bucket of video games, delightfully messy, almost certainly bad for you, and best shared with friends” in their conclusion.

Although it didn’t make the list of Game of the Year nominees at The Game Awards,Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2has been nominated for two other categories; Best Action Game and Best Multiplayer.
Sounds like it might be best to use your two hour trial wisely and see if any of your mates have access to PlayStation Plus Premium before jumping in.
