The latest game to hit PlayStation Plus is one of last year’s most popular games that made its way on to several Game of the Year lists.
Teardownis now available to all PlayStation Plus subscribers on the Extra and Premium tiers. This does mean that Essential subscribers will miss out.
Teardownappeared on a lot of Game of the Year lists for 2022.

As one of 2022’s biggest games,Teardownmanages to impress in both its campaign and sandbox elements. Originally released 21 April 2022, players were able to “plan the perfect heist using creative problem solving, brute force, and everything around you.” As one of the bigger recent releases, it’s a must play if you subscribe to thePlayStation Plusservice.
From the game’s official description, “Teardownfeatures a fully destructible and truly interactive environment where player freedom and emergent gameplay are the driving mechanics. Tear down walls with explosives or vehicles to create shortcuts no one thought was possible. Stack objects, build structures, or use floating objects to your advantage. Take your time to create an efficient path through the level, plan the heist and get ready to execute it. Run, jump, drive, slingshot. Do whatever you need to collect targets, avoid robots or steal whatever your clients ask for. But make sure not to get caught!”
I played this last year on Steam Deck and it blew me away (appreciate the pun, please). It’s an impressive little action game that goes a long way to letting players create and destroy much likeMinecraft, or digitalLEGO. With the addition of the newer creative mode, you can really lean into your imagination.
