“Help. I just wanted to playThe Force Unleashed IIon PlayStation Plus,” wrote the user, showing that game’s screen flickering before it randomly flashed over toSly Cooper: Thieves in Time.

Marvel’s Midnight Sunshas just landed on PlayStation Plus’ extra tier. Take a look at the game in action below.

Fortunately, some users report that simply closing and relaunching affected titles can fix the issue. Another said they had to do a power reset and system update via Safe Mode, which is a tad more long-winded.

There’s still the risk though that certain PlayStation Plus games could launch with that potentially dangerous flickering.

Some made light of the situation. “I think you are supposed to playSly Cooper, my friend,”wrote_mywifeleftme.

“Sly Cooper IP has been dormant for so long it’s becoming sentient and trying to force people to play it again,”addedSpideyStretch1998.

Sony is yet to address the problem, so I’d recommend that you get in touch with customer services should you experience the bug yourself.
