PlayStation Plus confirms ‘oversized’ 17 free game line-up for June

It’s that time again. Yes, it’s PlayStation Plus’ latest reveal day.

PlayStation’s seventh annual Days of Play event has just been announced to be underway.

This annual shindig usually consists of free offerings for PlayStation users, as well as various discounts and deals to take advantage of.

This time around, Sony has also promised “oversized” PlayStation Plus drops.

It’s been confirmed that on 4 June,SpongeBob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake, AEW Fight ForeverandStreets of Rage 4will become available as June’s essential tier games.

EA Sports FC 24is thickening the month’s offerings out as the May free title is actually sticking around until 18 June.

On 3 June, all PlayStation Plus users will also gain access to an exclusiveRobloxpack which includes an avatar for Felix Freezebeard the Yeti.

The “oversized” element comes into play when you jump up to the extra and premium tiers.

The premium tier will, on 6 June, gain the PSVR2 titlesGhostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord, Walkabout Mini Golf, Synth Riders, Before Your Eyes, andThe Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners - Chapters 1 & 2.

This is alongside PS2 titlesTomb Raider Legend, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, andSly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonusfrom 11 June.

The extra tier will then gainDredgeon 29 May,LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2on 31 May,Cricket 24on 5 June andGrand Theft Auto: San Andreas - The Definitive Editionon 7 June.

And there’s a new premium trial forWWE 2K24coming on 29 May.

This, I should add, is all in addition to the regular monthly catalogue update with the confirmed line-up for that coming at a later date.
