The first free PlayStation Plus game for January 2024 may have just been confirmed, and it’s an absolute banger.
We’re hopeful PlayStation Plus will kick off 2024 with some real bangers and, based on the latest prediction from insider billbil-kun on Twitter, a banger is what we’re getting.

Usually we wouldn’t give much weight to a mere prediction, but if you follow gaming news you’ll know billbil-kun has an incredible track record of accurately predicting the PlayStation Plus free games. It’s worth noting billbil-kun has stressedthey’re not 100 percent sure on this one, but they believe January 2024’s first game is indie hitNobody Saves The World.
With 79 on Metacritic,Nobody Saves The Worldis an incredibly underrated dungeon crawler with a fun character transformation mechanic that sets it well apart from other games in the genre.
We’ll find out what the free PlayStation Plus games for January are later today (27 December) so we don’t have long to wait. For now you can enjoySable, LEGO 2K Drive, andPowerwash Simulator. Three very different but equally excellent games that I would urge you to check out if you’re still subscribed to the PlayStation Plus service.
LEGO 2K Driveis an absolute blastand a childhood dream come true, whilePowerwash Simulatortaps into a very different part of your brain that you probably didn’t even know existed. It might sound like the most boring concept ever for a game, but I guarantee you it is absolutely gripping stuff.

Then there’sSable, which is one of the most unique and rewarding open-world experiences I’ve ever had. Yes, we can add up the total value of these games and tell you they clock in at over £100, but in reality they’re all worth much more than that. I’m as happy to have a pop at PlayStation Plus as the next guy, but I promise you: this is a brilliant month.
