This is perhaps no surprise considering the recent success of 2018’sGod of Warand its sequel,God of War Ragnarökwhich took the series to ancient Scandinavia as opposed to ancient Greece.
However, up until now, the originalGod of WarandGod of War 2have remained on early PlayStation consoles so this will be the first time they will be available for PlayStation 5 users.
So you may be wondering why we know thatGod of Warwill be added to PlayStation Plus.
That is courtesy of one user over on r/GamingLeaksAndRumours who noticed that a Greek-era Kratos icon had now been added to the PlayStation Plus tab.

They also draw attention to the fact that the same thing happened withDino Crisis’recent arrival to PlayStation Plus.

A month before that, an icon of Regina was added.

Exciting times indeed.
