PlayStation Plus free game is still one of the best-looking open-world games we’ve played

There are a lot of games that can stake a claim for being one of the best ever but at least when it comes to open-world superhero games, it doesn’t get much better thanBatman: Arkham Knight.

I say the conclusion, butWarner Bros. Games and Rocksteady Studios claimed that 2024’swoefully poor disappointmentthat isSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leagueis a continuation of that trilogy, but we all know that was a cheap ploy to enhance sales. In terms of story, gameplay and visuals,Batman: Arkham Knightputs most modern-day games to shame and that most certainly includesSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

“Live the complete Batman experience as the Dark Knight enters the concluding chapter of Rocksteady’s Arkham trilogy. Players will become The World’s Greatest Detective like never before with the introduction of the Batmobile and enhancements to signature features such as FreeFlow Combat, stealth, forensics and navigation,” reads the description of the game.

With all that in mind, if you subscribe to PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium, youcan playBatman: Arkham Knightright now at no extra cost. However, if you’ve managed to avoid the entire Batman Arkham series, you’ll often findBatman: Arkham Collection -which includes the entire trilogy and all DLC - discounted in various digital sales.

So what are you waiting for? The entire Batman Arkham trilogy is available now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
