The game takes a lot of inspiration from otherCapcomtitles such asDevil May Cry, which also featured plenty of hacking and slashing action. Although, choosing another character class can lead to some spell-slinging or ranged attacks. There are several classes to choose from including; Fighter, Strider, Mage, Warrior, Mystic Knight, Ranger, Assassin, Sorcerer and Magic Archer.
You will embark on your journey with three ‘pawns’ in tow. These pawns are AI controlled party members who will fight alongside you through a deep combat system that capitalises on each pawns' strengths. There’s a lot ofMonster Huntergameplay here as you try to take down large foes that would otherwise flatten the general population. It’s up to you to become the hero.
