In fact, this month is set to bring us some heavy losses as PlayStation Plus is set to lose a whopping 16 games from across its extra and essential tier catalogues.

The first, and biggest of them all, is one we’ve known about for some time:Horizon Forbidden West.
Horizon Forbidden Westwill depart on 17 September, following in the footsteps ofHorizon Zero Dawnwhich left a few months ago.
Given that these are first-party games with no expiring licences, it’s only added fuel to the fire when it comes to the rumour that aHorizon Zero Dawnremaster or remake is on the way.
With a PlayStation 5 Pro announcement and State of Play eventrumoured to take placein the next couple of weeks, might this be one of the event’s announcements?

There are some big losses in that list.
Marvel’s Midnight Sunsis a game I’d urge you to check out as it’s easily one of the most underrated Marvel games out there.
Spiritfareroffers an emotional narrative-driven adventure, whileAlien Isolationis easily one of the greatest horror games ever released.
Personally, I’ll be rushing to check outUnpacking. It’s been on my list for quite some time.

No date has been confirmed for the departure of these games but it’ll assumedly be around the same time asHorizon Forbidden Weston 17 September so you don’t have long to dive in.
