Regardless of the tier that you subscribe to, there are plenty of games to enjoy with Sony’s PlayStation Plus, hundreds even, if you subscribe to the top two tiers, Extra and Premium.
Earlier this month,Sonyannounced the three games that are included inPlayStation Plus Essential for May 2024, and now we know what’s coming toPS Plus Extra and Premiumthis month. Subscribers of the top two tiers can soon enjoy the likes ofCat Quest II, Watch Dogs, oh, and a small game calledRed Dead Redemption 2.

Yet, other than the inclusion ofRed Dead Redemption 2and a few others, it’s probably fair to say thatPS PlusExtra and Premium don’t provide the best overall offerings this month. However, there’s one game in particular that hasn’t excited subscribers all that much, and that game isCrime Boss: Rockay City.

Crime Boss: Rockay Cityis a game that looks like it’s a cross betweenGTA VandPayday 2, or at least that’s what it wants to achieve. It also features a cast of iconic pop culture actors and personalities of yesteryear such as Chuck Norris, Michael Rooker, Michael Madsen, Kim Basinger, Danny Glover and even one-hit rapper sensation, Vanilla Ice.
What’s more,gamers onReddit aren’t all that impressed with the inclusion ofCrime Boss: Rockay Cityin PS Plus this month. “It’s fascinatingly terrible,” said TheButteredBiscuit.
“You know it’s a bad month whenCrime Boss: Rockay Cityof all things is cited as one of the standout games in the title of the article,” exclaimed Gaia093.

That being said, there are some very suspect 10 out of 10 user scores on Metacritic. Though to be fair, it’s all about opinions and if someone believes this game represents perfection, all the power to them.
