PlayStation Plus' latest free games are genuinely brilliant and worth your time

When I took a look at the latest batch of free games for PlayStation Plus, my first thought was that it was the best month we’ve had in ages. Now I’ve had a quick peek at the reaction to those games from other subscribers, it would appear I’m woefully out of touch.

There wasn’t much enthusiasm for the free gamesfor November, and I fear December has fared about as well.

For my money, the PlayStation Plus free games for December are probably the best we’ve had in a long while. I grant you that’s not exactly the highest praise, given recent competition, but there are some bangers in here.

Sableis hands-down one of the most stunning and original open world games I’ve ever played, and is exactly the sort of game you want to see on PlayStation Plus.LEGO 2K Driveis an absolute blastalone or with friends, andPowerwash Simulatormay sound like crap on paper, bit is actually one of the most satisfying games you’ll ever experience. All three of these games are genuinely brilliant, and absolutely worth your time.

Alas, the PlayStation Plussubredditis not at all happy with these offerings. Go figure.
