Well, this is an unexpected surprise. PlayStation Plus’ first essential tier game for March has just surfaced online.
We’re not actually due March’s essential tier announcement until tomorrow, but trusted leaker billbil-kun is back in action, it seems. Before we dive into what’s next forPlayStation Plus, allow me to recap the month so far. Essential tier subscribers can currently grab day one releaseFoamstars,in addition toRollerdrome, andSteelrising. Those titles are only available to grab until Monday 4 March, with the new line-up then going live next Tuesday on 5 March. As for what the new line-up will entail, well leaker billbil-kun has just announced March’s headliner.

Sifuis a stellar game, boasting a Metacritic score of 81. Having spent some time on PlayStation Plus’ subreddit, I know that this title has been on plenty of people’s wishlists for quite some time so March should go down well. Beat em’ ups aren’t for everyone though, but hopefully we’ll see several other genres reflected in the rest of the line-up.
