Despite originally releasing in 2022,Weird Westhas been somewhat of an underhyped game but thanks to its inclusion in thePSPlus library, players are experiencing it for the first time. “Just startedWeird Westand after making my way a bit into the story. It’s amazing. The depth and creativity it has in its story is amazing”,saidone Reddit user. “Each conversation and action can lead to a different route making the game replayable. If you like games where your choices and actions matter, this is definitely one to check out.” As mentioned,Weird Westgives players complete freedom both with its story and gameplay. So much so, that the same user was able to stack three barrels to get over an otherwise locked door.

Another user claimed they “triedCallisto, got bored, now I can’t stop playingWeird West,” and another agreed saying, “Weird Westis amazing. Played it a couple years ago onPC, and I’ll gladly replay it on PS.” With the game having the same creative director asDishonored,it’s no surprise people are finding weird and interesting ways to tackle their playthroughs.
It seems as though PlayStation’s latest free games are the perfect addition to its subscription service and November’s titles are already following suit with one game alreadybeing a hit.
