PlayStation published ablogpostoutlining the next three games that’d be available for PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra and Premium subscribers to download. These wereSaints Row (2022), Black Desert–Traveler EditionandGeneration Zero. While these aren’t the worst titles in the world, they’re certainly lacklustre compared to what fans were hoping for.
However, that wasn’t the biggest letdown, as down towards the bottom of the post was a cheeky announcement that the price of all PlayStation Plus tiers would be increased.
The new prices will be as follows:
PlayStation Plus Essential 12-Month Subscription- 79.99 USD | 71,99 Euro | 59.99 GBP | 6,800 Yen

“$80 for the lowest tier 💀 what in the f***”
“These new prices are f****** vile $80 a year to play online games???!!! A $20 JUMP!!!!!!!!????”
Whether Sony follows through with the new prices is another question entirely.Xboxonce tried something similar with Xbox Live Gold, but back-pedalled after all the outrage they endured from fans, so perhaps the PlayStation Plus price-hike could be a similar story.
The three free games will be available for subscribers on the 5th of September, with the price-hike going into effect during a similar time.
