Of course the standout game in that list isDead Space, the remake of the beloved horror classic that quickly had players asking for a sequel.

It’s a great choice for October, especially with Halloween right around the corner, but unfortunately not everyone will be able to play it.

As it happens, Japan will not be gettingDead Spacewith their membership, as the game is banned for its gore and violence.

Fan reactions to this news agreed that it’s a crying shame the Japanese audience won’t be able to play the horror title, with one subscriber pointing out that “Stellar Bladeis way more violent, with a human being having limbs being severed, and they didn’t censor or ban.”

“It sucks thatDead Spaceis banned in Japan. The Japanese are missing out on a great game,” added someone else.

In lighter news everyone else is pleased to have a chance to play the game, with one player saying they’ve been “trying to find motivation to get to theDead Spaceremake and now I have it."

Dead Space, Doki Doki Literature ClubandWWE 2k24will all arrive on PlayStation Plus next month for all subscribers not in Japan.
