
PlayStation Plus subscribers can earn free in-store credit through specific purchases, but that’s all going to change in 2025.
While it’s nice thatPlayStationandXboxgive players the chance to earn in-store credit through their gaming activities and store activity it’s become harder and harder to reap the benefits over this past year.

PlayStation is arguably the biggest offender for this as if you want to convert the points you’ve earnt into storecredityour only option is a £10 voucher, not a great offering.

To make matters worse there are further changes on the way for 2025, as Reddit user Lhaparen found out when theydiscoveredyou can still earn points for buying or extending aPlayStation Plussubscription.
You get points equivalent to how much you’ve spent on the subscription so while it isn’t a lot it’s just an added bonus to resubscribing.
Unfortunately one of the commenters reminded us that we won’t be able to earn points fromMarch 2025 onwards, as PlayStation is once again changing the rules.
As you can imagine users aren’t happy with the planned changes, with one questioning why they don’t “ust get rid of the stupid stars program with how much its getting nerfed.”

Other users agreed, with another bringing up the lack of incentive to earn the points when you can hardly get any in-store credit out of them.
