As January looms large bringing in a new year, it also brings with it a selection of new games available to download for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
A Plague Tale: Requiemwas a terrific followup to the original game.
On release,A Plague Tale: Requiemwas very well-received. It garnered positive reviews across the board and players often felt the same. The game heavily relies on stealth sections which are balanced well with wonderful cutscenes showing the trouble and turmoil of life. The game manages to pull off lots of moments of tension through situations with armed guards or swarms of rats.

If you haven’t played the original, it’s worth seeking out before jumping intoRequiemas the story follows up on events from the original. Plus, it’s a great game in its own right.
To be honest, both games are worth playing for the rats alone. Even the most levelheaded person may fear the rodents in this game as they scurry about in their thousands trying to actively kill anyone in their way. They don’t just carry a disease but are a force to be reckoned with at every step of the story.
