PlayStation Plus users spot free game that’s set to leave very soon

PlayStation Plus’ extra tier catalogue may treat us to a generous drop of new free games to enjoy every month, but so too does it take a chunk of titles away.

The ever-expanding catalogue isn’t quite as ever-expanding as it looks but hey, there’s still more than enough to keep us busy so it’s not the end of the world.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that12 games will be departing in June.

The biggest loss is easilyGrand Theft Auto V. Given that this times up withRed Dead Redemption 2joining the catalogue, I guess there’s only room for oneRockstar Gamesmegahit around these parts.

MotoGP23, Baja: Edge of Control HD, Monster Jam: Steel Titans, SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated, Dodgeball Academia, The Wild At Heart, Indivisible, The Talos Principle, Unturned, DC League of Superpets, andBrothers: A Tale of Two Sonsare also all on their way out.

It turns out though that we seemingly actually have 13 departures this month as subscribers have spotted a departing game not included in the ‘Last Chance to Play’ selection.

Take a look atSpongeBob Squarepants: Battle For Bikini Bottom Rehydratedin action below. With a runtime of nine-hours, you’ve got plenty of time to squeeze this one in.

Reddit user 14sammy2spottedthatTelling Liesis also set to depart soon with the game showing an expiration date of 18 June.

I can verify that after venturing over toPlayStation Plus, I too can see this message.

It’s strange that this particular game wasn’t listed alongside the other departing titles but thankfully, 14sammy2 spotted the expiration date with enough time for us actually to enjoyTelling Lies.

It only takes around four hours to complete the main story so you’ve got plenty of time to tick this one off your to-play list before it departs PS Plus and as Reddit user BioPsychoSocial0 points out, it’s a “quick platinum game for trophy hunters”.

Enjoy it while you can.
