PlayStation quietly reveals PS5 Pro in 30th anniversary teaser

The PlayStation 5 Pro isn’t exactly a well-guarded secret – we’ve known for some time of its existence and that it’ll launch soon.

That being said, none of us have caught a glimpse of its final design yet.

Various leaks have appeared online that seemingly hint at how it’ll look, but withoutSony’s big reveal, it’s been naught but speculation.

PlayStationis gearing up for its 30th anniversary; it’s a massive milestone, and one that the publisher intends to celebrate properly.

With so much content to cover, the anniversary promotional material pays homage to that legacy through minimalistic illustrations of its past and present hardware.

And what do you know, it seems that the PS5 Pro is part of that line-up.

Well known leaker billbil-kun – the same billbil-kun that claimed to have revealed the PS5 Pro design – has had his leak quietly confirmed.

Reliable though this insider is, we all know the drill when it comes to leaks: remain cautious until told otherwise.

If you’re struggling to spot this small detail for yourself, that could be because it appears to have been removed.

“The fact they removed it double-triple confirms it,” theyargued.

Having gone back and closely examined the 30th anniversary shot ourselves, we have to admit that this illustration does seem to have been cropped out of view.

Does this 100 percent mean that it’s because it’s the PS5 Pro design? No. However, the evidence strongly suggests that it is.

Rumour still has the upgraded PS5’s launch for later this year, so we might not have to wait much longer before a louder confirmation is given.
